JBSR undertook a comprehensive repair and protection scheme to nine occupied low and medium rise blocks of flats in NE London

The range of works undertake at the Devons estate ranged from block to block dependent on the individual specifications, however the general scope of works for these occupied residential dwellings was as follows:
- Full conditional survey of all facade substrates to identify in-situ defects
- Various forms of surface preparation dependent on following activities to include:
- High pressure jet wash cleaning
- Low pressure steam cleaning (DOFF cleaning)
- Mechanical cleaning utilising needle guns and planning equipment
- Hand preparation
- Breakout, preparation and subsequent concrete repair works utilising proprietary concrete repair mortars
- Remedial and new build brick work
- Isolated repointing
- Chimney replacements
- Asphalt repairs
- Staircase repairs
- Tiling
- Soft landscaping
