British Antarctica

Specialised coatings applied to the British Antarctic research building in Cambridge.

Location: Madingley Road, Cambridge

While at the British Antarctica head quarters we used the following repair techniques:

• Surface preparation
• Concrete surveys
• Concrete repair
• Application of clear anti-carbonation coatings

This was completed successfully and was the introduction for two collegues to travel to Antarctica to carry out further concrete repairs on behalf of the British Antarctic survey in the Signey Isle's.
