Universal Music
External fabric repairs

The Universal music project consisted of repairs to the external fabrics of the building. To carry out these repairs we used the following methods:

  • Brickwork strengthening
















Cumberland House
External refurbishment of a 13 storey tower block located in Peterborough town center.
Location: Peterborough
At Cumberland house we used the following methods to repair the building:

  • Brickwork & concrete conditional surveys
  • Brickwork repair
  • Application of anti-carbonation coatings













British Antarctica
Specialised coatings applied to the British Antarctic research building in Cambridge.
Location: Madingley Road, Cambridge
While at the British Antarctica head quarters we used the following repair techniques:
  • Surface preparation
  • Concrete surveys
  • Concrete repair
  • Application of clear anti-carbonation coatings


This was completed successfully and was the introduction for two collegues to travel to Antarctica to carry out further concrete repairs on behalf of the British Antarctic survey in the Signey Isle's

Refurbishment of a privately owned early modernist style home
