JBSR sucessfully undertook new/remedial brickwork and associated works surrounding an ancient, protected tree specimen in North London
Location: Canonbury Park North, London, N1 2JT
The works to the area surrounding this extremely rare and preserved tree in north London comprised:
- Removal of in-situ defective timber fencing and solid brickwork boundary walls
- Hand excavation of footings for new boundary walls, including around main root system of tree
- Sourcing of colour match brickwork to meet with planning restrictions and clients expectations
- Reinstatement of brickwork boundary walls inclusive of void area within brickwork to allow roots to penetrate the boundary cleanly (to the engineers specification and tree preservation dept. approval)
- Installation and decoration of boundary fencing atop newly laid brickwork walls
- Excavation of existing drive way and subsequent installation of Priora drive way system to small private parking area adjacent the above works.
